AMPYR Australia has acquired Shell Energy Australia's 50 per cent stake in the 300 MW / 600 MWh Wellington battery energy storage system (BESS) stage one project in New South Wales. AMPYR already owns Wellington BESS stage two (100 MW / 400 MWh), so now owns 100 per cent of the total 1,000 MWh project.
